How much will it cost per hour?
The fee listed below is paid by each party to the mediation.
I am not required to pay VAT, so these are final prices.

How much will it cost in total?
It depends on the complexity of the dispute. The mediation I conduct typically lasts 3 to 6 hours, divided into 1 to 2 sessions. In family disputes, the mediation tends to be about one session longer. In most cases, the costs for mediation from the beginning to the conclusion of the agreement range from 4,500 to 9,000 CZK per party. If I draft a mediation agreement, the price increases by the time spent drafting the agreement (usually 1 to 3 hours depending on the complexity).
How is the fee paid?
I charge for mediation in 15-minute increments, so you only pay for the actual time spent on the mediation, not for each started hour. The cost of mediation is due based on an invoice, which I will issue to you after each mediation session. The invoice is payable within 15 days, unless we agree otherwise.
The fee for the initial meeting with a registered mediator is set by a decree of the Ministry of Justice and is charged for each started hour. This price is fixed regardless of the type of dispute. The initial meeting lasts a maximum of 3 hours. Therefore, each party will pay a maximum of 600 CZK for the initial meeting. The fee for the initial meeting is payable in cash immediately after the meeting.
Refund of court fees
If you reach a mediation agreement and have it approved as a court settlement, the court will refund 80% of the court fee paid. In the case of a dispute with a higher value, the refunded court fee can cover your entire mediation costs or at least a significant portion of them.
